Aston Villa most likely 2025/26 Premier League position predicted already
Aston Villa have been backed to challenge high up the Premier League table for a fourth straight season under Unai Emery.
The Villans narrowly missed out on Champions League football this season after suffering defeat away at Old Trafford on the final day.
Emery’s side recorded 66 points in the 2024/25 campaign, their second-highest total in a 38-game season.

Aston Villa’s 2025/26 position predicted
Ahead of next season, Villa have now been tipped for another top-four charge.
According to Oddschecker, Villa are backed to replicate their 2024/25 success next year and finish sixth.
They are priced at 40/1 to clinch their maiden Premier League title, and just 3/1 to achieve a top-four finish.
The bookmakers also expect Emery’s side to finish above Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur once more next term.
Only Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal are less fancied to suffer relegation in 2025/26, with Villa priced at 200/1 to face the drop.
Next season could be one to remember at Villa Park
Despite missing out on Champions League football in controversial circumstances, Emery and Co. could make next term a standout season for Villa.
Tottenham proved that the Europa League is a competition attainable by even a sub-par Premier League outfit. Therefore, given Villa’s operation at a consistently high level across the past few seasons, they will head into the tournament as one of the clear favourites.
With Emery at the helm, Villa couldn’t enter the Europa League in better hands.
The Spaniard has won the tournament on four separate occasions, including three consecutively between 2014-16 with Sevilla.
As a result, missing out on Champions League football could provide Villa with their best opportunity to clinch their first major trophy since 1996.
A summer of change could be on the horizon for Villa too, with stars such as Emiliano Martinez, Morgan Rogers, and Ollie Watkins all linked with potential moves away.
Coupled with Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio returning to their respective parent clubs following loan spells at Villa Park, there could be a major shake-up in B6 next term.
Time will tell who stays and who goes from Emery’s side this summer – but one thing is for sure – next season is sure to be one of intrigue and possibility for the Aston Villa faithful.
