Aston Villa fans furious over ‘terrible’ official announcement from Villa Park

Aston Villa have all to play for on the final day of the season as they chase down a Champions League spot, but there will be a slight change to their matchday routine.

Villa head into the final day level on points with Chelsea and Newcastle, and one point ahead of Nottingham Forest in the race for a top five spot.

Unai Emery’s side will need to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford and hope other results go their way if they are to secure a place among Europe’s elite next season.

The final game will see Villa take on a United side who have just lost the Europa League final and are spiralling into chaos, and the game will also see the Villains wear a new kit.

Aston Villa fans dislike new away kit ahead of Man United debut

Aston Villa have now released their new away kit for next season, and it will be worn for the first time in their Premier League clash with Man United on the final day.

The kit is black with light blue Adidas stripes on the shoulders, but it has not been well received, as Villa fans have taken to X to moan about the design of the kit.

Aston Villa must beat Man United

Despite the complaints about the kit, Villa fans will suddenly like the kit a whole lot more if the team marks their first game in it with a monumental win.

United are in crisis, and Villa have the chance to secure Champions League football for the second year running.

Villa have the chance to not only qualify for the top competition in Europe again, but can also make a statement that they are ready to replace Man United as one of the top teams in the Premier League, with a second consecutive finish above the Red Devils.

Losing to this United team, and potentially dropping into the Conference League positions, would be hugely frustrating given the form and strength of both teams, while United also have nothing to play for in their final game.
