Aston Villa in talks to get rid of £10m player yet again
Aston Villa are already preparing for the 2025/26 campaign as they look to make multiple signings and departures.
Unai Emery has guaranteed European football for Aston Villa next season after their 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on the weekend.
This should see another financial boost for the Birmingham outfit after their recent Champions League campaign.
However, it could still be a tough summer, with Aston Villa under PSR pressure once again.
This is likely to cause multiple departures, with Lewis Dobbin the latest player to be linked away.

Aston Villa youngster Lewis Dobbin in talks to rejoin Norwich City
Dobbin was signed by Aston Villa in the summer but is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Birmingham outfit.
Instead, the 22-year-old has been sent out on numerous loans to the Championship, starting with West Brom.
However, during his spell at The Hawthorns, Dobbin was poor at the Baggies and was unable to score a single goal.
This resulted in Aston Villa recalling the winger, and he was then sent on loan to Championship side Norwich City.
Here, the 22-year-old found form and netted twice in 11 appearances before picking up an injury which ruled him out until the end of the season.

However, Aston Villa are now looking to send him back to the Canaries next season as the second-tier outfit confirmed that they were in talks to re-sign the winger on loan.
In a statement regarding their retained list, Norwich City (13 May) said: “Discussions remain ongoing with Aston Villa and Lewis Dobbin over a potential extension to his loan deal.”

Lewis Dobbin’s long-term Aston Villa future is uncertain
With it now likely that Dobbin does return to the Championship next season, it is hard to see the winger having a future at Villa Park.
Despite having a decent run of form at Norwich City, he has not set the world alight in the second tier, and it is unlikely that he will be ready for the Premier League anytime soon.
Therefore, Villa should look to cash in on the winger as soon as possible, with it now being clear that the transfer has failed.
If the Birmingham outfit can coup some of the money back and add a sell-on clause, it could be a good deal.
