‘Gabi Nunes future undecided’ after what happened at Aston Villa women
Gabi Nunes will be eager to learn more about her future at Aston Villa Women as the season heads towards its end date.
The Villans have had a hugely difficult season, starting with Robert de Pauw and continuing partially for Natalia Arroyo since her introduction.
With that being said, the Spanish head coach has taken charge of back-to-back WSL wins against both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
As the B6 club looks to carry that run on into the new campaign, the future of Nunes is bound to be a huge talking point ahead of the summer.

Nunes future in question at Aston Villa Women
The 27-year-old completed a switch from LaLiga to the West Midlands in the summer but has largely failed to live up to the £250,000 spent on her.
This comes as the Brazilian has scored just two league goals in claret and blue, contributing an additional assist, which is far from good enough.
Despite coming in for a sizable transfer fee, Nunes sits behind the likes of Rachel Daly, Adriana Leon and Anna Patten on the scoring charts.
This isn’t good enough, but ultimately could have resulted in a move away if Villa were relegated from the WSL at the end of the season.
This won’t be the case now as Crystal Palace confirmed their relegation thanks to a 7-1 defeat against West Ham in their last outing.
Even with that being the case, there is every chance that Nunes will still have questions over her future in the WSL.

Nunes must stay at Aston Villa
There is no doubt that the former Levante star has the quality to make her an excellent asset for the Villans as they look to rise up the league.
Adapting to a new division, even with former teammate Paula Tomas, is always difficult, and that has certainly been the case for the Brazilian.

After already seeing out a debut campaign, it would make little sense for any party to call short Nunes’ stint at Villa Park in the summer.
Looking to get the best out of the forward alongside the likes of Ebony Salmon and Daly would be wise and represent an excellent amount of depth in forward areas.
