Rashford to never play for Aston Villa again after massive Emery revelation
Marcus Rashford has proven to be a great addition for Aston Villa since joining on loan from Manchester United.
Since joining the Villa Park outfit, he has notched four goals and five assists in 17 appearances across all competitions for Unai Emery’s men.
The England international’s efforts helped Emery’s side progress to both the Champions League quarter-finals and the FA Cup semi-finals.
But perhaps Rashford’s importance to Villa was epitomised when he missed out on their FA Cup semi-final clash with Crystal Palace, and had to watch on as the West Midlands side were beaten 3-0 at Wembley.

Emery reveals the extent of Rashford’s injury
Villa fans were left concerned when Rashford was unable to feature in his side’s matchday squad against Palace in the FA Cup semi-final courtesy of an injury.
He played a key role in getting Emery’s men to Wembley, scoring a brace in the quarter-final against Preston.
After Villa were beaten by Palace, Emery informed the press that Rashford will be unavailable for ‘some weeks’ thanks to a hamstring issue.
Rashford’s injury will mean he never plays for Villa again
Now that Villa have failed to progress to the FA Cup final, Emery’s side have just four games left to play this season, meaning that Rashford’s injury could lead to him being absent for the rest of the campaign.

But while the West Midlands club still boast an option to buy the England man, he remains open to returning to his parent club, Man United.
Furthermore, Villa’s Champions League chances took a major dent on 22 April, when they were beaten 2-1 by fellow top-five chasers Manchester City.
After performing well against PSG in the second leg of Villa’s quarter-final, Rashford will likely want to play at the top table of European football once again next season.
Meanwhile, despite their poor Premier League campaign, Man United can still seal Champions League football ahead of next season via the Europa League, where they face Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals.
The wideman will not want to remain with Villa if they cannot land a top-five spot, so his injury could mean that he never plays for the men in claret and blue again.
