Aston Villa stars to demand NSWE pay rises amid Rashford update
Aston Villa owners NSWE have been warned against offering Marcus Rashford a mega deal to stay at Villa Park.
The 27-year-old has revived his career on loan with the Villans, notching four goals and six assists in 17 matches so far.
Unai Emery‘s side have an option to purchase the England international at the end of the season for £40million, but the former Manchester United star is likely to demand a significant wage.
That could cause issues for the Villans and Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris have been urged to consider the impact on the rest of the squad.

Rashford move could spell disaster for Villa
If the Villa Park outfit signs Rashford permanently, it is expected that it would take a deal around the £300,000-a-week mark to convince him to stay.
Gabby Agbonlahor believes that the B6 club should not sign the Old Trafford loanee due to the friction that his wage demands could cause amongst the squad.
Speaking on talkSPORT (24 April, 8:09 am), he said: “Rashford is on loan, so he is putting a shift in and showing, what if you offer him a four-year deal on £300,000-a-week and he goes back to what he is doing at Manchester United, feet under the table, relaxing, not pressing, not working hard?
“Do I like Rashford, I really do but also Alan, I know what it is like in changing rooms, you got out and I’ve him £300,000, what is Konsa going to want, what is McGinn going to want, what are Tielemans, Kamara going to want.
“The players that have been there and done it for the club.”
Villa can find better than Rashford
The Three Lions star has settled in well in Birmingham in recent weeks after a disappointing start but if his wage demands are likely to cause problems, then Villa can look elsewhere.
There is every chance that they can find a player who could contribute just as much for a significantly smaller wage, given their extensive scouting network across European football and Monchi’s contacts within the game.

Given the fact that Rashford could attract interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, they may find themselves having to move on regardless.
Given the financial issues that the Villans have had recently, it would make sense to find a cheaper alternative and ensure that other key members of the squad are happy, rather than risking upsetting them by handing out an inflated contract to a new player.
If Rashford wants to stay at Villa, it should be on the club’s terms rather than his own, he is not worth such a huge wage anymore, his performances have not warranted it, despite a few goal contributions.
If he refuses to decrease his demands, he goes elsewhere.
