Agbonlahor hears Aston Villa have offered the biggest contract in their history
Aston Villa are said to have offered the “best contract ever” to a current first-teamer in a bid to secure his future at Villa Park.
Unlike many teams in the Premier League, Aston Villa still have a heck of a lot to focus on between now and the end of the season, with an FA Cup semi-final approaching alongside the chance to secure Champions League qualification.
Under Unai Emery, the Villans have made a remarkable amount of progress, as showcased by their clash against PSG in which they fell to an unfortunate aggregate defeat.
However, to continue that progression, Villa will have to make some big decisions on the futures of several players, with one reportedly in line for a massive deal.

Aston Villa set to offer Boubacar Kamara a record-breaking deal
Players like Marcus Rashford have been hitting the headlines, but that won’t allow any room for distraction when it comes to the quality possessed by Boubacar Kamara.
Aston Villa are enjoying a magnificent season, and much of that success has come down to the performances of their midfield general throughout the campaign.

Kamara has already attracted interest from Liverpool, with Villa reportedly set to offer him a huge new deal to fend off that interest, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking on talkSPORT (24 April, 8:20am), he said: “Aston Villa apparently offering [Kamara] the best contract ever in a Villa player’s history. He’s coming up to the end of his deal.”
A wage of £125,000 per week has been mooted for Kamara, who will have a huge role to play for Villa next season if they can retain his services.
Villa must focus on what happens on the pitch
Despite there being just five league games left this season, Aston Villa cannot afford to take notice of anything going on away from the pitch.
Champions League qualification will be crucial to any of their recruitment plans, while Emery will also be just as keen to add a trophy to top off what has been a successful campaign to date.
Only then will considerations be made for the summer, with Kamara’s future one of the areas that needs addressing as a matter of urgency.
