‘Aston Villa to sign Axel Disasi permanently’ amid Unai Emery transfer admission
Unai Emery could look to bring Axel Disasi to Aston Villa permanently when his initial loan deal ends in the summer.
The Frenchman completed a temporary switch to Villa Park in the winter and has had a mixed bag of performances in claret and blue.
His most recent outing came in the 2-1 defeat against Manchester City as the 27-year-old came under fire for his defending against Jeremy Doku.
With that being said, the defender could still be set to join the Villans permanently if Emery gets his way as the summer window looms.

Emery wants Disasi permanent deal at Aston Villa
The former Monaco man has been utilised mainly as a right back since coming in from Stamford Bridge in a tactical approach that many fans don’t understand.
This may have paid off against the likes of Club Brugge and Brentford, but certainly wasn’t the case against City or PSG in the Champions League.
In both these examples, the French defender replaced Matty Cash in a change which ultimately proved to be ill-advised from Emery.
Even if that is the case, a transfer decision is still in the offing for Monchi and Co. at Villa Park with the future of the versatile defender in mind.
Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes the Villa boss will want to keep hold of Disasi beyond the summer once his loan spell ends.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Allen said: “Chelsea are going to need to bring some money in and sell some players.
“With Aston Villa, they’re strong, and with players coming in, Emery will say, ‘I don’t want more players, I only want players who are going to improve the squad.’
“It’s more than likely that they will push the boat out and sign him in the summer.
“They will have to sell again in the summer, but Disasi is bound to be someone they want to bring back.“

Disasi to be a risk-free signing at Aston Villa
There may be some fans who have forgotten about the positivity of the Frenchman’s loan after his failings against Manchester City.
It has to be remembered that the Frenchman was playing out of position against one of the most dangerous and direct wingers in the Premier League.

When afforded the opportunity to actually play as a centre back, Disasi has been excellent for the Villans, and that has to be remembered.
This could make him a useful signing as a backup to Ezri Konsa in the summer as Emery looks to build a squad ready to compete at the top of the table.
