‘Harry Kane to replace Marcus Rashford at Aston Villa’ as shock transfer claim emerges
Aston Villa have been mooted as a potential landing spot for Harry Kane if the Englishman leaves Bayern Munich.
As of now, Villa’s only focus will be on what happens on the pitch, with Champions League qualification to be sealed and an FA Cup semi-final to attend to in the coming weeks.

Sheringham tips Villa to sign Kane from Bayern

However, Sheringham has urged Villa to make the signing in a bid to bolster their future ambitions. As quoted by GOAL, he said: “You’re also looking at a team like Aston Villa, they might want to go a step further. He is a top player and the finished article, he can give you two or three years, so teams will go for him. He is a commodity that people want.”

Now, it’s hard to see anything coming of this, but with Marcus Rashford likely to return to Manchester United, it’s fair to say Kane would be a shrewd replacement, and maybe more.
This seems like the longshot of the century when it comes to transfer news, but it doesnt take away from the calibre of player that Villa will actually be able to attract if they can secure Champions League football again next season.

Villa currently sit level on points with Chelsea, who occupy the last Champions League spot, with Forest also sandwiched between, though they do have a game in hand.
