Jason Tindall reveals ‘Peace signal’ for Unai Emery after Aston Villa controversy

Jason Tindall has been the subject of discussion ahead of Newcastle’s game against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Last time the two sides met, the Magpies’ assistant manager was sent off following a half-time tunnel brawl.

He was then charged with improper conduct but managed to avoid a heavy fine.

Tindall issues ‘Frustrating’ admission ahead of Villa Park clash

Tindall has admitted that it’s been a while since it happened and he does not happen to hold any grudges about the matter.

He claims that he will happily shake Unai Emery’s hand if the Spaniard wants to.

It seems that Newcastle are expected to remain unchanged for the seventh game in a row.

Tindall said, via the Mirror on 19 April, Page 3: “I’m very passionate and all I want to do is win. It’s a frustrating game at times, but I’ll certainly hold my hand out if he wants to shake it. I am sure he will.”

He expects Emery not to have any issues either, so the two coaches can let bygones be bygones.

Aston Villa will be looking to secure the three points on Saturday

To secure three points against a high-flying Newcastle at Villa Park, the hosts must leverage their home form and attacking dynamism while neutralising the Magpies’ potent counter-attacks.

Emery’s side, unbeaten in 15 home games and fresh off four consecutive Premier League wins, should exploit their high touch count in the opposition box by feeding Marcus Rashford and Morgan Rogers, who can capitalise on Newcastle’s occasional defensive lapses.

Villa must maintain defensive discipline to contain Jacob Murphy, who has 13 goal involvements in his last 17 away games, and Alexander Isak’s clinical finishing.

Pressing high to disrupt Newcastle’s rhythm, particularly without Eddie Howe’s touchline presence, could force errors.

Set-piece execution is crucial, as Newcastle’s defence can be vulnerable aerially.

With a fully fit squad, including Leon Bailey’s pace off the bench, Villa’s intensity and home crowd energy can secure a victory.
