NSWE told to finalise Marcus Rashford signing despite what Unai Emery did
Marcus Rashford’s future will be up in the air ahead of the summer transfer window, having impressed since arriving on loan at Aston Villa.
Aston Villa have plenty left to play for this season, despite their Champions League exit against PSG on Tuesday night.
An FA Cup semi-final with Crystal Palace awaits the Villans in just over a week’s time, and with six games left to be played in the league, Champions League qualification is certainly on the cards once again.
If success is to be found through both routes, Rashford’s inclusion will be pivotal, and having already impressed at Villa Park, they may look to turn it into a permanent deal this summer.

Man United could look to sell Rashford this summer
Man United have endured a horrendous campaign, and Rashford did very little to impact that before his exit in January, which was largely met with relief from those at Old Trafford.
With that in mind, it seems highly unlikely that he will be in Ruben Amorim’s plans next season, which could, in turn, benefit Aston Villa if they are to pursue a permanent deal, which, in the opinion of Andy Dunn, they should be.
Writing via the Mirror’s print edition (17 April,pg57), he said: “If you want to take the next step – the step into the modern elite – do what you can to make the Rashford deal permanent. And for Villa, as a club, it would be a statement signing.
“A permanent Villa move would be good for Rashford and Villa. That is why they need to make it happen.”
Rashford, of course, contributed an assist in what was nearly a remarkable comeback for Villa against PSG before Unai Emery opted to sub him off in the latter stages.

Aston Villa must secure statement signings this summer
If a permanent deal for Rashford can be struck, then it would be a no-brainer for Aston Villa, though they will need many more additions of that calibre.
Emery has the foundations of an excellent squad, and with the addition of a couple of top-tier players, this Villa team can reach the top, having nearly defeated one of football’s elites against all odds.
Focus for now will be on the Premier League and FA Cup, but it won’t be long until attentions turn to the recruitment plans for the summer.
