Grealish reacts to three-word Rashford comment that Aston Villa fans will love

Marcus Rashford is looking forward with Aston Villa and has full support from Jack Grealish.

Rashford joined Unai Emery’s side in the January transfer window, and has wowed fans by his ability to buy into Emery’s methods and coaching style.

The Manchester United star has worked hard defensively, albeit not against PSG last week, while also showcasing his skills at the other end of the pitch as fans have called for him transfer to be made permanent.

Rashford will get the opportunity to dazzle on the brightest stage on Tuesday (14 April) when the Villans compete in the Champions League quarter-finals against PSG, which he’s looking ahead to.

Marcus Rashford is ready for PSG

The Premier League side will welcome PSG to Villa Park on Tuesday night for the second leg of their quarter-finals, with a tie against either Arsenal or Real Madrid awaiting the winners.

However, Emery’s side have a mountain to climb as they are currently 3-1 behind in the tie after the first leg in Paris last week.

Villa did put up a strong fight in the away leg, though, which should give the team some momentum and belief that they can pull off an upset in this fixture.

Morgan Rogers had given his team the lead before PSG’s quality became too much for them, which is something Villa will have to overcome this time around.

The England international has full belief in his team as he took to Instagram (14 April) to say: “Momentum is building. That encouraging message was liked by former Villa star Grealish.

Grealish has remained a popular figure at Villa Park after his years of success at the club, and the fact he’s liked this post and is backing his former team and England teammate is something fans will no doubt love to see.

Rashford could find himself back at Villa on a full-time basis if Emery looks to pursue that as an option, while there is plenty of speculation about Grealish’s future.

A return to Villa Park would be a sensational and emotional situation for all involved, but the price involved may put them out of contention as he looks to gain more regular football moving forward.
