Rio Ferdinand stunned by what Marcus Rashford did v PSG – ‘Dangerous’
Marcus Rashford caused a stir in Aston Villa’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Villans took the lead in the French capital through a 35th-minute Morgan Rogers strike but Desire Doue levelled proceedings just four minutes later.
However, it was Rashford who was the most threatening player as the Manchester United loanee was lively throughout the contest and earned plaudits from Rio Ferdinand as he tried to drag Villa forward.

Rashford leaves Ferdinand wowed after what he did v PSG
Rashford has been a revelation at Aston Villa recently, notching three goals in his last three matches and he looked in the mood against PSG.
He was constantly trying to make things happen and drove into the Parisian’s box just after the 40-minute mark and nearly laid the ball on a plate for a teammate.
Ferdinand was left stunned by the ex-Old Trafford star’s display in the contest at the Parc des Princes as he continued his good run of form.
Speaking on TNT Sports (9 April, 20:42 pm), he said: “This is the Rashford that you want to see, this is the Rashford that we know is in there, he looks like a man possessed.
“When the ball is around him, he looks aggressive, he looks dangerous.”

Aston Villa have obvious Rashford decision to make
Rashford has revived his career at Villa Park since being frozen out by Ruben Amorim in Manchester in a truly remarkable turnaround.
The Villans have a £40million clause in his loan contract that means that they can sign him permanently in the summer.
Stats | Rashford |
Matches | 12 |
Goals | 3 |

That seems like an obvious choice right now but they may need to act quickly as other teams like PSG are lurking for Rashford’s signature.
It makes sense for the England star to remain in the West Midlands as he is clearly enjoying working with Unai Emery and has settled in perfectly at Villa Park in his loan spell.
He could risk a loss of form if he departed from an environment where he feels comfortable and has the potential to become the main man in B6 if he can continue in such a rich vein in terms of his performances.
If Villa can secure a second successive season in the Champions League, it would increase their chances of the Three Lions ace staying in Birmingham, rather than moving to greener pastures in the hopes of wider fame.
