Rashford frustration spills over as he’s spotted in Aston Villa defeat v PSG
Marcus Rashford was left highly frustrated as Aston Villa fell to a 3-1 defeat against PSG in the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.
The Villans travelled to the Parc Des Princes on 9 April and fell to a frustrating result as Nuno Mendes scored a last-gasp third for the Parisians.
Now, Unai Emery will have to prepare his side for the reverse leg at Villa Park in the hope of turning around a two-goal deficit in B6.
The Spaniard may not look to rely on Rashford again from the start after what was a largely anonymous performance in the French capital.

Rashford left raging in Aston Villa defeat v PSG
It did come as a surprise to see the England international starting instead of Ollie Watkins against the Ligue 1 champions.
This was clearly done in the hope of playing on the counterattack and looking for the Manchester United loanee on the break.
Villa did score in this fashion, but without the impact of Rashford, who didn’t really have much to do for his entire 79 minutes he was on the pitch.
This clearly left him frustrated, which became visible to Paul Robinson live on BBC Radio 5 Live (9 April) as he said: “He is getting frustrated, Marcus Rashford. He is not getting the ball, and he’s not getting the service.”
Although the former England keeper felt as if this may have been down to the fault of the forward’s teammates, ex-Villa man Dublin felt that loan star was picking up poor positions.
He said: “Marcus Rashford, for me, is too deep. When you get the ball back, you need an out-ball. If he’s a little higher, it will give Villa a chance of having controlled possession.”

Rashford must improve for Aston Villa
The Englishman was on the pitch to chase the ball and get in behind when handed the opportunity, but he didn’t truly do that in Paris.
For large spells at the Parc Des Princes, Rashford struggled to have an impact despite having the beating of Lucas Beraldo on multiple occasions.

This did come as a blow for the Villans and failed to help them defensively as Luis Enrique’s side continued to come back at them for 90 minutes.
It will be interesting to see if the loanee can turn things around and have a positive impact in the reverse leg at Villa Park and help turn the two-goal deficit around.
