Aston Villa ‘to miss out on Rashford’ as France developments emerge
Aston Villa will be hoping to hold on to Marcus Rashford after his remarkable resurgence.
The Manchester United loanee has notched three goals in his last three matches for the Villans in a sharp unturn of form since being frozen out at Old Trafford.
The Villa Park outfit will have a decision to make on whether to trigger the £40million clause in Rashford’s loan contract to sign him permanently but that may taken out of their hands after a new development from France.

Aston Villa may struggle to keep Rashford after PSG interest emerges
Unai Emery will be keen to keep Rashford after his stunning form since joining on loan but he may find it difficult to do so.
A report from L’Equipe (8 April) claims that Paris Saint-Germain are set to enter the race for the 27-year-old’s services.
It states that Luis Campos, the Parisian club’s sporting director has been in contact with Rashford’s camp over a potential move.
Despite signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the winter transfer window, Luis Enrique is believed to want another forward to bolster his options.

Rashford may have a big decision to make
If it comes down to a decision between the two clubs, Rashford will have to decide whether he would prefer to stay in Birmingham, where he has revived his career or move to a new league, albeit where he would be almost guaranteed to pick up a league medal.
The Parisians are ahead of Villa in terms of their status in Europe and as the top team in terms of the domestic game and could offer him a higher salary but the former Old Trafford ace is settled at Villa Park.

The Villans faithful may be hoping that Rashford does not impress when the side’s face off (9 April), so that the Ligue 1 champions cool their interest.
Otherwise, they may have a tough battle on their hands to convince the Three Lions ace to stay in B6 beyond the end of the season.
If Villa can qualify for a second successive campaign in the Champions League, it may increase their chances but Rashford may still decide to move to Paris, given the higher chances of wider fame and fortunes.
