Aston Villa ‘to offer Kamara £125,000-a-week’ amid ‘historic’ contract news
Boubacar Kamara could soon become one of Aston Villa’s best-paid players after recent contract developments.
Kamara has had an impressive season in the West Midlands.
As a result, the midfielder has emerged as one of Emery’s most important players, and with two years left on his contract at the end of the season, Villa will want to sort out the 25-year-old’s long-term future.
And it looks as though steps are already being taken to do this.

Aston Villa to offer Kamara a lucrative contract
As reported by The Telegraph’s John Percy via X on Tuesday, 25 March, Aston Villa have started talks with Kamara over a new contract in the West Midlands.
It was expected that the Frenchman would receive a lucrative offer from Villa to put pen to paper.
And according to Foot Mercato (2 April), Villa want to do everything they can to keep hold of Kamara and are prepared to offer him a “historic” and “unprecedented” contract.

Therefore, ex-Villa scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Villa News – believes an offer of around £125,000-a-week will be made.
“The best-paid players are the likes of Emiliano Martínez and Ollie Watkins,” King said.
“Amadou Onana is on good money, as is Leon Bailey. I’d imagine that Villa are going to offer Kamara around £125,000-a-week.
“However, if they do offer that kind of contract, there will likely need to be adjustments to other deals.”

Aston Villa must keep hold of star players
If Villa want to continue to progress they need to keep hold of their most important players.
Kamara is one of those players, with the midfielder establishing himself as one of the first names on the team sheet at Villa Park this season.
Therefore, if the Birmingham-based outfit can convince Kamara to stay put, that will be a clear sign that they are continuing to move in the right direction.
