Rashford told to bring Aston Villa ace with him to Man United – ‘Incredible signing’

Aston Villa loanee Marcus Rashford is being ordered to use his connections to bolster Manchester United’s transfer efforts in the summer.

The dwindling Old Trafford star has rediscovered his form since joining the Villans after a falling out with Ruben Amorim left him in the cold.

The 27-year-old has notched three goals in his last three matches for Unai Emery’s side but it is a teammate who has taken the fancy of the United faithful.

Man United fans call for Aston Villa swoop

Red Devils supporters have urged the club to make a move to sign Morgan Rogers after his exploits in the 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a stunning breakthrough at Villa Park and notched the opening goal on 5 April with a great take and drive past Mats Sels to take his tally to eight goals in the Premier League.

His latest contribution had United fans fawning over the Villa man, rather than the performance of their loanee.

Villa must be prepared for Rogers exit

Emery’s side have put themselves in a better position to qualify for a second successive season in the Champions League with a run of three Premier League wins on the bounce that has left them in sixth in the table.

However, it may not be enough to keep hold of the England international, as the elite clubs will likely be lining up to sign him in the summer.

While United fans may have dreams of signing him, surely he would rather stay in B6 rather than move to a side that is currently languishing in 13th place, although they could qualify for Europe’s premier competition by winning the Europa League.

A more likely prospect is the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City coming in and taking him away, as they are both in a much better position than United.

Rogers is on a path to stardom and could quite easily become one of the best players in the Three Lions squad if he continues and whether the Villans can match his ambitions in the long term remains to be seen and it may be a nervous summer in the Midlands.
