Aston Villa ‘to seal Champions League football’ after £25m transfer development
Aston Villa will once again be looking to qualify for the Champions League next season, and their business this summer will have a huge say as to whether or not they achieve it.
As of now, Unai Emery’s only focus will be on the pitch, with Champions League success still there to be had, alongside plenty of reason to continue their Premier League run.

Lyon starlet on the radar of Aston Villa
Aston Villa’s transfer business may be decided by whether or not they can find success via the Champions League, and if so, one signing in particular would bolster their squad massively.
According to a report from TBR (1 April). Rayan Cherki is a target for Aston Villa, having enjoyed a spectacular campaign in France with Lyon.

The 21-year-old has recorded 15 goal contibitions in Ligue 1 this season, having started just 17 games and his price is more than reasonable.
Cherki could leave Lyon for less than £25million in the summer, and given his quality and room for development, it would be a steal for Aston Villa and a signing that would drastically improve their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Since the appointment of Emery, Aston Villa have been on the rise both in terms of on the pitch and off of it.
For that progression to continue, recruitment will be key, and if the Villans can get that right in the summer, the sky is the limit under the Spaniard.
