Jude Bellingham responds as Marcus Rashford sends new message
Marcus Rashford made his long-awaited return to England action when the Three Lions beat Albania 2-0 at Wembley on Friday.
Rashford has been handed a new lease of life since joining Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United, delivering four assists in nine outings for the West Midlands giants.
His efforts in Villa colours were rewarded when new England boss Thomas Tuchel selected him in his first-ever Three Lions starting 11.
Rashford’s last England appearance before Friday came back in March 2024, when they lost to Brazil under former boss Gareth Southgate.

Jude Bellingham delivers two-word response as Rashford celebrates England win
Rashford enjoyed being back in the England fold and posted on Instagram: “It felt so good to be back with the boys.
“A solid start to the qualifiers with a lot more to come.”
Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham commented: “He’s back”, accompanied by a white heart emoji, while Rashford’s Villa teammate Leon Bailey wrote: “The man.”
Rashford will look to end goal drought soon
Rashford has made an excellent account of himself since joining Villa on loan from Man United, with Unai Emery bringing the best out of him.

But he has still not found himself on the scoresheet since bagging a brace during United’s 4-0 win over Everton back in December, which he will look to address sooner rather than later.
The England international has been able to express himself in Villa colours in a way that he could no longer manage at Old Trafford, which could be enough to tempt the West Midlands side into acquiring his services permanently.
Rashford has developed a particularly strong partnership with fellow Villa loanee Marco Asensio, who has scored seven goals in eight appearances since joining from French giants PSG.
But the next step for the forward to take is clearly to score his first goal for Emery’s men, as they push in the Premier League and Champions League after this break.
