‘Jacob Ramsey done at Aston Villa’ amid Manchester United transfer development
Jacob Ramsey has struggled for regular starts at Aston Villa in recent months.
The 23-year-old has plenty of qualities to add under Unai Emery but has had his issues with injuries which have hampered him at times.
There is no doubt of what the Englishman brings to the Villans’ side despite only chipping in with four Premier League goal involvements.
With that being said, the versatile attacking midfielder could be on his way out of Villa Park after an update emerged from Manchester United.

Ramsey could leave if Manchester United agree transfer
The Villa academy product has played second fiddle to Marcus Rashford at points since the forward signed at the end of the winter window.
It is fair to say that the England international has gone on to impress since moving to the West Midlands despite not getting on the scoresheet.
With four assists in his opening nine games, three of which have been to Marco Asensio, the 27-year-old has already become a fan favourite in B6.

This has come as a surprise to some after what was a bitter end to his spell at Manchester United before departing on loan.
Now the Red Devils seem to have hope of moving the Englishman on to help provide the club with even greater financial flexibility in the summer [Florian Plettenberg, 18 March].
This could see the Villans step in and take advantage to see their number nine stay for the long term, beyond his initial six month loan.
If that deal is to be agreed in the summer, there is every chance that Ramsey’s spot in the side is taken and he could look to move on for the better of his career.

Rashford could replace Ramsey at Aston Villa
Realistically, if Monchi and Co. move to sign Rashford on a deal worth upwards of £40million, he is going to start week in and week out.
Given that he prefers to feature off the left, it leaves limited space available for others to come in and play in the same role.
This could prove to be the end of the road for Ramsey who would likely expect more minutes than may be available in B6.
It would certainly prove to be a bold move from the Villans to lose the 23-year-old who is an academy product and a boyhood fan but is needs must in today’s PSR world.
The fee involved would likely be large and would work in the best interest of the player and the club as frustrating as the loss may be.
