Troy Deeney rages at Aston Villa ace Marcus Rashford development, sick of excuses
Marcus Rashford has been electric at times since joining Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United during the winter.
The 27-year-old has grabbed four assists for the Villans so far during his temporary spell, his most recent coming against Club Brugge.
Despite not getting on the scoresheet yet, there is plenty of love for the forward who is well appreciated by the Villa Park faithful.
With that being said, it is a delight to see him recognised for his efforts regardless of a negative opinion from Troy Deeney.

Deeney fumes after Rashford England call up
It did come as a surprise somewhat in B6 to hear that the loanee had been handed a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad for next week’s World Cup qualifiers.
With that being said, it could prove to be the exact boost that the Englishman needs to find the net for the Villans in the coming weeks.
Although many Three Lions supporters were delighted to see Rashford in the squad, there were certainly mixed reviews in some quarters.
One with a negative view of this decision was Deeney who believes there are other players who deserved the call more than the versatile forward.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (14 March, 10:15am), he said: “I’ve never known so many excuses be made for one person. He’s 27-years old now and we’re talking about if, buts and maybes. If, buts and maybes.
“He played 90 minutes against Club Brugge when they had a man sent off, what are we doing here?
“I just think there are other guys who are working week in week out, putting in stellar performances but they get overlooked because of the name of Marcus Rashford.”

Rashford must shut out Deeney noise at Aston Villa
It doesn’t necessarily come as a surprise that the former Birmingham City man would have a negative opinion of a Villa player.
There are elements of truth to what he is saying with the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White potentially deserving of a call up in their own right.
With that being said, that decision isn’t down to Rashford who has been given that call after what has been a great spell in claret and blue.

His link up play with Marco Asensio has been excellent and has helped result in a positive run in three competitions in recent weeks.
Alongside Morgan Rogers in the England squad, there is a great chance for the loan star to prove himself on the international stage once again.
