Kaine Kesler Hayden reacts immediately after Aston Villa FA Cup news
Kaine Kesler Hayden has reacted after Aston Villa were drawn against Preston North End in the FA Cup.
The Villans secured their place in the quarter final of the oldest cup competition in the world with a 2-0 win against Cardiff City on Friday (28 February).
A brace from Marco Asensio was enough to earn progression through to the final eight for the first time in ten years at Villa Park.
In what is seen by many as a stroke of luck, Unai Emery’s side have drawn Preston away from home and now Kesler Hayden has shared an instant reaction.

Kesler Hayden gutted by Aston Villa v Preston draw
There is no lack of excitement among Villa fans with their side just one win away from a day out in the capital for the first time since 2020.
On paper, the Villans have been given the best possible route to the home of English football with a clash against a second-tier side.
The B6 club are set for a trip to Deepdale on the final weekend of March and will be keen to secure another win against Championship opposition.
Things may have been made slightly easier for Emery and Co. as the Lilywhites look set to be without a starting defender for Villa’s visit.
Kesler Hayden is on loan from B6 for the season in Lancashire and as a result, looks set to be ineligible to face his parent club in the cup.
This is clearly gutting to the 22-year-old who has taken to X (2 March) to seemingly share his disappointment at missing out on a quarter final clash.
The right-back shared a single melting face emoji which sums up how he must be feeling after what is likely to be a devastating blow.
Aston Villa have a great opportunity v Preston
Given the level of sides that are left in the FA Cup, there is an excellent opportunity for Villa to secure a domestic trophy for the first time since the 1995/96 season.
Manchester City are the only true “big six” side remaining and as a result, there are plenty of sides who will believe they can win.
Aston Villa need to prove that they are truly in it to win it and look to make light work of Preston regardless of playing them away from home.

Bournemouth | Manchester City |
Brighton | Nottingham Forest/Ipswich Town |
Emery has already proved that his side can get past second-tier opposition against Cardiff and will be hopeful of doing so again.
There won’t be many better opportunities to win an FA Cup with this squad and so the Villans need to make the opportunity count.
