Crystal Palace v Aston Villa result predicted by supercomputer
Aston Villa face Crystal Palace on Tuesday looking to continue their momentum from the 2-1 win over Chelsea.
Two strikes from Marco Asensio secured a comeback victory against the Blues on 22 February, with second-half substitute Marcus Rashford playing a crucial role.
That was the Villans’ first win in their last five Premier League matches, a run that has seen their Champions League qualification hopes hanging by a thread.
Unai Emery will hope that his side can pick up where they left off and beat Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and increase their chances of securing a European berth.

Aston Villa loss on the cards v Crystal Palace
However, Villa supporters may be disappointed after a supercomputer predicted the result of the Selhurst Park clash.
The Opta Analyst supercomputer believes that the Villans have a 32.9 per cent chance to win the contest.
Premier League 24/25 | Played | GD | Points |
4. Manchester City | 26 | +15 | 44 |
5. Newcastle | 26 | +10 | 44 |
6. Bournemouth | 26 | +14 | 43 |
7. Chelsea | 26 | +12 | 43 |
8. Aston Villa | 27 | -2 | 42 |
However, a home win is a more likely result with a 40.5 per cent chance and a draw is just 26.6 per cent.

Emery needs another victory
If the B6 outfit are to secure a second successive Champions League berth, they need to win this contest and continue to rise up the table in the next few months.
The victory over the Blues has left Villa eighth in the Premier League table, two points behind Manchester City in fourth but there are three other teams between them.
The Villa Park side could secure another season in Europe’s premier competition by winning it this season but that is unlikely given that the likes of Liverpool, Paris-Saint Germain, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich are in their side of the draw.
If Emery’s team are going to qualify for the competition again, it will likely have to be through their league position and they will need a very strong finish to the campaign.
Aston Villa cannot afford to lose to the likes of Crystal Palace, that is for sure, with the final stretch now firmly in sight.
If the Villans do taste defeat in London, their hopes of another campaign in the Champions League may be severely dented depending on other results.
