Marcus Rashford is new ‘Holte End hero’ at Aston Villa after what he did
Jamie Redknapp was thrilled with Marcus Rashford as Aston Villa beat Chelsea 2-1 at Villa Park on Saturday.
The Manchester United loanee came off the bench to turn things around for Unai Emery’s side on 22 February.
While Marco Asensio scored both goals to seal the three points, Rashford played a pivotal role in setting up those strikes.

Holte End finds a new hero in Marcus Rashford
Rashford’s talent has always been undeniable but he appeared to be going through a tough time at Old Trafford.
Emery noticed that and was aware of what he would bring to the table at Villa Park so opted to sign him in the January transfer window.
So far, the decision appears to be paying off and if Jamie Redknapp is to be believed, the club may have found a new hero.
Speaking on Sky Sports Premier League, Redknapp said at 7:33pm: “I’ve got to be honest, Rashford came on, and the Holte End have got a new hero. He gave energy and enthusiasm, everything we want to see from him.”

Aston Villa and Unai Emery could help Marcus Rashford return to his best
Emery is the ideal manager to unlock Rashford’s full potential given his proven track record of rejuvenating struggling forwards and his meticulous, player-centric approach.
The Spaniard has consistently revived careers, turning players like into top performers by tailoring systems to their strengths.
His tactical flexibility, often deploying a compact structure that minimises defensive demands, suits Rashford, who has faced criticism for off-the-ball work, allowing him to focus on his explosive attacking instincts.

Emery’s hands-on coaching, including individual video sessions and precise positioning drills, addresses Rashford’s need for clear guidance.
Unlike Ruben Amorim’s rigid philosophy, which clashes with Rashford’s style, Emery adapts to his players, fostering confidence through affirmation or tough love as needed.
His success at Aston Villa, elevating them to a proper Champions League team, demonstrates his ability to maximise talent, something that Rashford, at 27, desperately requires.
Emery’s belief in the attacker’s ability and potential paired with Villa’s supportive environment, positions him perfectly to restore the forward’s form, making this partnership a calculated masterstroke for both player and club.
