Marcus Rashford already in line to leave after ‘top-class’ Aston Villa development
Aston Villa could already be in line to lose Marcus Rashford to Barcelona.
The England international joined the Villans during the winter window and has already impressed in his opening showings against Ipswich Town and Tottenham.
Despite not getting on the scoresheet yet, the 27-year-old has shown signs of getting back to his best in claret and blue.
With that being said, his upturn in form could eventually go against Unai Emery as a switch to La Liga seems to still be on the table.
Aston Villa star Marcus Rashford still looking at Barcelona move
The Manchester United loanee has shown in the past that he has the quality to be a world-class talent who could suit an elite club.
Barcelona showed an interest in signing the versatile forward in January [Sport] before Villa stepped in to complete a temporary deal.
Despite this, former Brentford manager Martin Allen believes a move to Camp Nou could still be possible but Rashford needs to show his attitude has improved from his Old Trafford days.
“He’ll be looking at the opportunity to go and play for Barcelona, everybody would be. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two clubs that every player wants to go and play for,” Allen exclusively told Villa News.
“Has he turned a corner? I don’t think so.
“I think he’s got a lot to prove after his departure from Manchester United and with some of the things the manager has said about his attitude.
“Until he buries that, he will want Emery to say that his attitude has been top-class.
“We can’t forget that he came on at halftime, he needs to be starting, scoring and assisting, it’s a lot easier coming on at halftime.
“He’s got to start these games and continue to make a difference, that’s got to be continuous between now and the end of the season.“

Aston Villa must ignore Marcus Rashford transfer speculation
No matter what the ex-Red Devil ace’s intentions are, as long as the Villans get the best out of Rashford while he plays in B6 they won’t care.
If the Englishman performs at a top level and helps Villa to progress in the FA Cup and Champions League, Emery’s side have won.
Everybody at Villa Park knows that when he is at his best, the number nine is a step above and could arguably play for the best sides in the world.
