Marcus Rashford ‘destined to shine at Aston Villa’ after what Jadon Sancho said

Marcus Rashford has already made his debut for Aston Villa after signing on loan from Manchester United during the winter transfer window.

The England international was met with a roar from the Villa Park faithful and it is safe to say that he impressed during his 23-minute cameo.

Regardless of what Ruben Amorim has been saying, the 27-year-old looked committed to the cause and sharp with the ball at his feet.

It is clear that things had got toxic at Old Trafford and that has been made clear what was said after his debut.

Before Rashford, Jadon Sancho was the fall guy at Old Trafford after being forced out of the side by Erik ten Hag.

This saw the winger make a loan move to Borussia Dortmund last season before making a temporary switch to Chelsea for the current campaign.

The 24-year-old has had a much more positive spell since making a move to the capital and he seems to be hopeful that his former teammate will replicate that.

This has been shown after he sent a message to Rashford on Instagram after completing his debut for the Villans against Spurs on Sunday (9 February).

He merely wrote: “Freedom.”

Marcus Rashford to shine at Aston Villa after Manchester United exit

If fans ever needed any evidence of how toxic the environment is at Old Trafford, this is exactly that.

This could ultimately benefit Unai Emery and Co. as the Spaniard looks to hand the Red Devils’ academy product a regular role in the first team.

Having the pressures of performing for a United side which is under constant scrutiny while being away from a negative media presence in Manchester can only be a plus for his prospects in B6.

As a result, Rashford will hopefully look at this loan spell at Villa Park as an opportunity to prove just how good he is when the pressure of the world isn’t on his shoulders.

His performance against Tottenham was excellent and showed some bright flashes of what he can do in the coming weeks and months.
