Everton v Aston Villa – prediction, team news, lineups, betting odds
Aston Villa will be hoping to make it three wins from three when they travel to face Everton on Wednesday night.
The Villans travel to Goodison on 14 January just five days after their 2-1 win against West Ham in the third round of the FA Cup.
In a return to Premier League action, Unai Emery will be keen to secure another three points in the Premier League after winning against Leicester City in their last league fixture.
Preview
Another game and another new manager for Villa to face.
After facing Graham Potter in his first game for the Hammers, a clash representing David Moyes’ return to Merseyside awaits this week.
The Toffees parted ways with Sean Dyche after a frustrating run of results and performances which saw their new owners pull the sack trigger in surprising fashion.
Now the Blues will have the new manager bounce ahead of the visit of the Villans on Wednesday which will only boost the home side’s chances of picking up a win.
Moyes’ new side haven’t won a Premier League match since 4 December so it is fair to believe that Emery will fancy his chances in the clash.

Team News
There are plenty of names set to miss this clash at Goodison for both sides, which will make it interesting to see how the managers line up their sides.
Emery will likely be without Diego Carlos for the trip to Merseyside.
The Spaniard will certainly be without midfield duo John McGinn and Ross Barkley while defender Pau Torres is also set to be absent.
Moyes is also set to be without a whole host of players for his first match in charge of his second stint of the Toffees.
First-team regulars Seamus Coleman and Dwight McNeil are likely to be missing while James Garner, Tim Iroegbunam, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti are set to be out.

Prediction
The Villans are yet to lose against Everton, in the league, since earning promotion from the Championship in 2019 and won’t want to end that streak on Wednesday (15 January).
Jhon Duran will be back among the squad and may prove to be an influence once again either as a starter or as a substitute.
Even with the injuries that have hampered Emery’s side, there is still enough to secure three points regardless of it being Moyes’ return.

The B6 club have already proved they aren’t susceptible to the new manager bounce and will want to prove that to be the case once more.
