Tidiam Gomis to be Unai Emery’s first Aston Villa signing this January
With Gomis in line to stay at Caen for the rest of the season, it is evident that Aston Villa view him as one for the future.
The 18-year-old is primarily a left winger, but is comfortable operating across the front three, and has scored two goals and provided as many assists in 17 Ligue 2 appearances this season.
It remains to be seen how much the Birmingham-based club have agreed to pay for Gomis’ signing.
