Tyrone Mings will be eager to learn the outcome of transfer talks to understand his future at Aston Villa.
The England international has made limited appearances since returning from a long-term injury, making his third start of the season against Leicester City.
With that being said, it would be fair enough if the 31-year-old wanted to leave in search of regular minutes with Pau Torres and Ezri Konsa typically preferred by Unai Emery.

If the ex-Sevilla man were to depart, there would be additional minutes available to the Englishman which may hand him a boost.
This will likely be music to Villa fans’ ears considering how much of a fan favourite the defender signed from Bournemouth has proved to be in his six years at the club.
Supporters will now have to wait and see whether Carlos will stay or go in January and if a new option comes in or if Mings is trusted to start more regularly.
