Aston Villa want loan-to-buy deal with Vissel Kobe to sign Miyashiro – Sources

Villa News understands that a loan with an option to buy for Taisei Miyashiro is wanted by Aston Villa in January.

The Vissel Kobe star be linked with a V Sports-related switch from Japan to the West Midlands in the opening weeks of the winter window.

Villa News reported on 3 January that the Villans were interested in a loan deal for the 24-year-old as talks kicked off with the Japanese side.

With the January window now progressing, a move to bring the versatile forward to Villa Park may have now taken a step forward for Monchi and Co.

Aston Villa want loan to buy deal for Taisei Miyashiro

A source with close links to the J.League has revealed to Villa News that there is no doubt, in the case of a loan move, that a buy option would be included.

This would be a positive addition for Villa who have had their issues with PSR in the past 12 months and will need to be smart with their winter dealings

The former Japan under-20 international could provide some additional creativity and an eye to goal to Unai Emery’s squad which will only be a boost across the second half of the season.

If Miyashiuro does make a move to B6, there won’t be any departures from Bodymoor Heath to Vissel Kobe despite a partnership between the two clubs.

Villa News has also learnt that youngsters from the Midlands don’t want to depart for Japan even if the Villans were to accept a deal for a potential temporary switch to Asia.

It is unclear whether this could scupper a deal but as it stands, it appears that the Villa hierarchy are looking to be financially clever in January to make the most of the funds available to improve Emery’s squad.

In other Aston Villa news, a Jack Grealish transfer stance has been mooted as a £30m update has now emerged.
