Morgan Rogers future of Aston Villa after Manchester City display

The England international has caught a lot of peoples’ attention this year at Villa Park after his move from Middlesbrough in January 2024.

Emery has made the 22-year-old an essential part of his plans in the current campaign, with the midfielder starting in every Premier League match.

While Rogers still has a long way to go, his performances have been rewarded with a debut for the Three Lions.

Aston Villa have been a bit inconsistent this season, but three wins in four league games suggests they are firmly back on track.

The Englishman hasn’t been at his best either during the Lions’ sticky spell, but the display against the reigning champions proves that Emery must build the team around him.

Man City have struggled lately, but the Villans still had to be flawless in order to get points off a wounded opponent, and they did just that.

Rogers is surely the future of English football, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see a top team come in with a £100million-plus offer for him in the near future.
