After the game, Duran spoke ahead of his 21st birthday later in the week though, hilariously admitting that he is already starting to feel old.
Speaking on Amazon Prime, presenter Alex Aljoe warned people might not like to hear that, joking: “Okay, the viewers won’t like that.
“He said he feels bad because he’s getting old. 21-years-old, I wish I was 21 again.”
Jhon Duran set to be a star for Aston Villa
Duran has significantly impressed at Villa Park this season and rightly so. The young striker has a great goal return and looks certain to surpass the expectations he set for himself last season.
Despite claiming he is “getting old”, the most exciting thing about the soon-to-be 21-year-old is the fact that he is still so young and therefore, has such an exciting future ahead of him.

The striker has some stiff competition at Villa with Ollie Watkins. However, this gives Unai Emery the ability to make use of all of his resources as well as allow his players to learn and develop their game.
Duran will no doubt start attracting attention if his impressive form carries on so Villa will be keen to keep their standards high as they are getting their form back on track.
