Ezri Konsa update emerges amid recent Aston Villa issues

Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa appears to be back to 100 per cent after his November injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that he has very little chance of re-injury after facing issues with his fitness a few weeks ago.

The 27-year-old played the full games against Chelsea, Brentford and even Southampton on 7 December.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “He would have had a fitness check at the start of the month as his setback in November was quite mild.

I see him at 100 per cent now, playing 90 minutes in three games over eight days.

The club and the player have handled this situation well and he’s playing with little to no risk of re-injury now.

Ezri Konsa is everpresent for Aston Villa under Unai Emery

When fit, Unai Emery turns to Konsa to play either at right-back or centre-back.

This season, he has played 13 Premier League games for Villa and his return has seen the team winning their last two games.

Hopefully, he manages to stay fit for the rest of the season and contribute to another run resulting in a European finish.
