Semih Kilicsoy makes transfer decision amid £15m+ Aston Villa news
Semih Kilicsoy is preparing for a 2025 exit from Besiktas as Aston Villa weigh up a January transfer, the Star reports.
According to the Turkish news outlet’s website [27 November], the 19-year-old has decided to leave Istanbul with reported interest circulating from the Villans and Paris Saint-Germain.
Villa are said to have sanctioned a £15million bid player-plus-cash bid, including Alex Moreno for the forward in the summer [Yagız Sabuncuoglu], but they were ultimately unable to pry the Turkish forward away from the Super Lig outfit.
However, Villa are prepared to return with an increased offer, it is claimed, while PSG are also ready to tempt Besiktas with a £25m offer in January.

Kilicsoy was in the form of his life last season in Turkey, scoring 12 goals and adding three assists in 35 appearances for Besiktas.
The Turkish international has endured a relatively slow start this term; however, he has scored two goals with four assists in 17 outings and views the upcoming transfer window as the perfect opportunity to take the next step in his career.
But Emery is blessed with two phenomenal options to lead the line at Villa Park in Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran, and the Spaniard risks disrupting the status quo by adding further competition for the sole central striker role.
Duran has been a revelation for Aston Villa this season, cementing his status as the world’s best impact subs, thus he continues to be touted with a move away from Villa Park due to his limited opportunities. Adding Kilicsoy to the mix could be the final nail in the coffin.
Therefore, Emery must decide if his current options are enough to fire his out-of-form side back into Champions League contention in the Premier League or whether he is willing to cash in on the overwhelming interest in Duran.
While Kilicsoy has all the tools to develop into a world-class talent at Villa Park, other areas of the pitch are in dire need of addressing, such as centre-back, and considering the PSR troubles of the summer, it is likely Aston Villa will not be able to fund moves for both the Turkish forward and Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez [Caught Offside].
