Ezri Konsa expected to start for Aston Villa v Juventus after Unai Emery update
Bryan King expects Ezri Konsa to start for Aston Villa against Juventus on Wednesday.
The ex-Villa scout claims Unai Emery’s side need a boost in the Champions League as they prepare to take on the Old Lady at Villa Park [27 November].
Speaking ahead of the clash with Juventus, Emery confirmed that both Konsa and Boubacar Kamara were available once again for selection [via The Athletic, 26 November].
And King – speaking exclusively to Villa News – claims this match is a chance for Konsa to prove himself.
“Why wouldn’t Konsa start?” King said.
“If he’s fit enough and he wants to play then he will start. Villa need a boost in the Champions League after that farcical 1-0 defeat against Club Brugge.
“Konsa is an England international and if he is available to play, then he needs to go out and prove himself because this is a big game.”
Ezri Konsa to start for Aston Villa v Juventus on Wednesday?
Villa are without a win in six matches in all competitions.
Therefore, supporters will be despite to see their side record another famous Champions League victory, this time over Juventus.
Not only would the win be an impressive one, but it could also prove to be an important one when it comes to rediscovering some confidence and momentum at Villa Park.

There is no better way to turn a poor run of form around than with a statement victory, and having Konsa back against Juventus could help Emery’s side claim that victory.
