Aston Villa to make Louie Barry exit decision amid Premier League links
Aston Villa will have a decision to make regarding the future of Louie Barry with the 21-year-old attracting Premier League interest with his League One performances.
According to Fichajes (17 November), Tottenham and Leicester have been monitoring Barry’s progress on loan at Stockport Country and the Villans may look to cash in on the youngster who has little chance of making it at Villa Park.
Barry has a remarkable 12-goal contributions in 16 League One appearances for Stockport, with his side sitting fourth in the table.
Aston Villa must consider Louie Barry sale
There’s no hiding from the fact Barry has been exceptional in League One this season although his ability to contribute to the Villa first team remains untested and with him in the best form of his career, they may look to cash in while his stock is high.

The Villans have several attacking options at the club, all of which are far more proven than Barry and they simply won’t be dropped to accommodate someone who lacks knowledge of Premier League football.
The links to Leicester City are particularly interesting as they are a club that can afford a risk, with hopes that it can pay off in their bid to avoid relegation.
However, with Villa, it isn’t a risk worth taking at the moment with plenty on the line.
The report from Fichajes states that the club will be looking for around £12.5 million for the 21-year-old and if Villa don’t act now, that value could decrease significantly if performance levels drop.

Prior to his loan, Barry agreed to extend his contract at Villa Park although the club never confirmed the length of the extension.
January could provide an excellent opportunity to sell the forward and re-invest the money into the squad as Unai Emery chases Champions League qualification once again.
In other Aston Villa news, Diego Carlos could leave the club in January after Unai Emery was left impressed by a £25million-rated defender.
