Aston Villa star Jaden Philogene stinks yet again in England U21s showing
Aston Villa ace Jaden Philogene failed to impress again in a showing with a lack of impact for England Under-21s against Spain.
The winger has struggled for form since returning to Villa Park from Hull City in the summer transfer window.
Besides a strong defensive showing against Bayern Munich, the 22-year-old has generally struggled to contribute going forward for the Villans.
This has continued for his country after a quiet performance in the 0-0 draw on Friday (15 November), which won’t impress Unai Emery.

The Villa academy product was electric in the Championship last season but hasn’t shown why Monchi wanted to bring him back to B6.
The current international break posed an opportunity for the forward to prove himself and show his qualities against tough opposition.
Philogene didn’t take that chance as he took 50 touches after starting and featuring across 78 minutes for the Three Lions [SofaScore].
With those touches, he registered just 22 passes with a 71 per cent pass accuracy which won’t impress Emery who demands better from his players.
The youth international did complete two dribbles and two crosses but didn’t manage to create a chance for any of his teammates.
He was provided with one big chance which he wasn’t able to convert, summing up his form in front of goal this season.
It will be frustrating for the 22-year-old to have lost possession 15 times especially after not contributing anything in forward areas.
That isn’t to say that he did anything to help out the back line, contributing just one defensive action while winning just 57 per cent of his attempted duels.
It just isn’t going right for Philogene right now, he needs a goal or an assist to get him on the right track ahead of his Villa Park return.
