Aston Villa could sign ‘remarkable’ Michael Kayode from Fiorentina
Aston Villa could be a transfer destination for Michael Kayode if he were to leave Fiorentina, according to the Daily Mail.
Tom Collomosse reported to the newspaper’s online edition on 13 November that the right-back could make a move to Villa Park after forcing his way into the Viola first team.
The 20-year-old has “remarkable energy” which makes him a useful asset down the flank as he is “tenacious in defence and dangerous in attack”.
Kayode is “one of the top-rated Under 21 players in Italy” and if Unai Emery can bring him in, it would represent a coup for the Villans.

The Villans do have a right-back problem at the moment and the Italy Under-21 international could prove to be a smart move.
Ezri Konsa has been forced to play out of position in that role and that doesn’t appear to be benefitting him or the team based on recent results.
This has been due to injury concerns for Matty Cash, which have seen him ruled out on multiple occasions despite being typically robust.
The Poland international’s deputy should be Kosta Nedeljkovic but it appears that Emery doesn’t trust the 18-year-old, which makes the situation quite bizarre.
Whatever the issue is with the right-back position in B6, there is no doubt that the Fiorentina ace would be a useful addition to the side.

His pace and physicality down the flank would add a different dimension to a side which has been quite predictable in recent weeks.
There is no guarantee that the Villans could get this deal over the line but if they could, it would be met by excitement from supporters, no doubt.
In other Aston Villa news, Chelsea’s stance has been shared as a loan-to-buy deal is being eyed by Unai Emery.
