Jhon Duran lets Aston Villa down as footage emerges from Bournemouth draw
Jhon Duran let Aston Villa down as he missed a gilt-edged chance in the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth.
The Villans looked to be taking all three points from Villa Park on Saturday 26 October before Evanilson scored a last-gasp equaliser.
Things could have been so much different for Unai Emery’s side after the in-form Colombia international missed an excellent chance in the second half.

Morgan Rogers was taken off after a quiet afternoon to be replaced by the 20-year-old who has been so good as a substitute this campaign.
He wasn’t able to have the desired effect off the bench this time around but certainly had the opportunity 15 minutes after coming on.
Some good work down the left by Jacob Ramsey found Ollie Watkins in the box who teed up his strike partner for a first-time effort on goal.

The Holte End were expecting the net to bulge given the level of finishing the ex-Chicago Fire man has shown so far this campaign.

His effort cannoned wide of the post, leaving the Colombian with his head in his hands. He knew how good of an opportunity it was.

The striker came on and was demanding of the ball straight away as he looked to make something happen for the Villans.
This saw him take 23 touches of the ball across his 33 minutes on the pitch while maintaining a 70 per cent pass accuracy across his 10 passes [FotMob].
It is frustrating for the striker to maintain a shot accuracy of just 33 per cent with only one of his efforts troubling Mark Travers in the Bournemouth goal.
Defensively, Duran was able to support the backline to great effect as he registered one tackle and two clearances while also winning seven duels in a positive showing in that sense.

Unfortunately, the 20-year-old just had to score his chance when it came and ultimately it can be said that cost the Villans from securing all three points.
