PSG deal brokers in talks with Aston Villa over blockbuster Kolo Muani January transfer
Aston Villa have been offered the chance to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain in January, according to TBR Football.
The news outlet reported on 18 October that PSG are ready to let Kolo Muani, 25, leave in the winter with him only earning any game time under Luis Enrique due to Goncalo Ramos’ injury.
It is understood that Villa have been spoken to by intermediaries, who are being tasked with finding the France international a new club.
England looks likely to be the former Frankfurt striker’s next destination with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United also being spoken to by those trying to broker a deal.
Aston Villa in running to sign Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain
Aston Villa fans will want to take this one with a pinch of salt.
Although intermediaries have touched base with the Villans, there’s no way that the West Midlands club would try to strike a deal for Kolo Muani – who cost £70million last year – when they already have Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran up front.
Unai Emery has the best problem any manager has in the Premier League thanks to the fact that Duran, his substitute striker, is in incredible form with five goals scored off the bench in both the league and Champions League this season.

While there’ll no doubt be prying eyes looking at the Colombia international and starting number nine Watkins, Villa would surely rather keep hold of them both until at least the summer before deciding on their futures and if they want to plough a huge amount of money into signing a replacement.
TBR Football claims that no one has made contact with PSG about a deal for Kolo Muani at this point and as he cost them a lot of money just over a year ago, they would be open to doing a loan deal.
But why would Villa even loan him when they have Duran in the form of his life and Watkins being the best English striker in the Premier League?
