Robert de Pauw let down by Aston Villa Women after what happened v Leicester City Women
Aston Villa Women are still yet to win in the WSL under Robert de Pauw after a goalless draw despite dominating Leicester City on Sunday (13 September).
The Villans have won just one game under the Dutchman, with that coming against Crystal Palace in the Women’s League Cup on 2 October.
Last time out was disappointing, suffering a 4-2 defeat away from home against Brighton.
There was a chance to bounce back at Villa Park with a positive result against a side also yet to win but de Pauw’s side let him down on the day as they played out a 0-0 draw.

Villa have so much quality across the pitch and that was certainly on show throughout the clash against the Foxes.
Gabi Nunes and Rachel Daly started together while the likes of Jordan Nobbs and Missy Bo Kearns partnered with each other in the midfield.
The home side only looked stronger on the bench as Adriana Leon, Kenza Dali and Katie Robinson all came on and having a positive impact.
With all the talent available in B6, the Villans dominated possession with 61 per cent and were able to transform that into 16 shots [FotMob].
This didn’t truly trouble Janina Leitzig in Leicester’s goal, considering only just four of those shots were on target.
The German did make a superb save towards the end of the encounter but it was too little too late from Villa, who didn’t do enough to take their chances.
The blame for this result can’t be put on de Pauw after setting his side up to win and just being let down by a lack of conviction and confidence in front of goal.
