Amadou Onana injury update emerges for Aston Villa v Fulham
Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana may be ready to play the full 90 minutes against Fulham on 19 October, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that having missed the Manchester United game with a thigh concern, the Belgium international will need to require a late fitness test before he’s given the green signal to feature at Craven Cottage.
The 23-year-old has been a first-team regular under Unai Emery since joining from Everton in the summer.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “Based on his high fitness levels, I believe he would be in contention for a full 90 minutes following the break.
“The key for him will be to continue to get through full training and the physio checks.
“He will also need a late fitness test as he didn’t play v Manchester United, but he could very well be ready for this one.“
Amadou Onana has been an amazing signing for Aston Villa
Onana has enjoyed a flying start to life at Villa Park and has already scored two goals in the Premier League this season.
Emery will certainly be pleased at how quickly he’s adapted to his new teammates and the Spaniard has managed to play him in a position that will get the best out of him.

It goes without saying, that if the 23-year-old is in the starting eleven against Fulham, Villa’s chances of winning are significantly higher.
