Jaden Philogene injury update emerges ahead of Aston Villa v Ipswich Town

Jaden Philogene’s injury is worse than first expected and that should keep him out of the Aston Villa v Ipswich Town clash, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the knock might have developed into a more significant bone bruise which has seen him missing in action since 14 September.

Villa take on the newly-promoted side at Portman Road on 29 September and are unlikely to have the 22-year-old attacker available.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientisttold Villa News:

Based on the information we have, he had a knock and then it was pain tolerance dependent.

This might have developed into a more significant bone bruise than originally anticipated which is leading to an extended time course.

It seems likely that he will miss the game over the weekend as well.

Jaden Philogene has had a slow start to life at Aston Villa

Philogene has had a hard time adapting to life at Villa Park due to the lack of game time for Unai Emery’s side.

He played 16 minutes in the 2-1 win against West Ham and only featured in the dying seconds against Everton.

Hopefully, he will recover properly from his injury and can get an extended run on the first team.
