Ezri Konsa starting XI prediction for Aston Villa clash v Everton after injury update

Ty Bracey has suggested that Ezri Konsa only suffered “a knock” for England and could be fit to feature for Aston Villa against Everton.

The 26-year-old went off after 61 minutes against Finland on 10 September, leaving Villa fans fearing for the worst.

Three Lions manager Lee Carsley suggested that he thought he “looked ok” despite admitting he hadn’t had a chance to speak with the versatile defender [Birmingham Live].

Villa podcaster, who features on the Villa Social, Bracey is hopeful that Konsa will be fit for the Villans’ clash against Everton.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “Lee Carsley has come out and said that he’s ok so I don’t think there’s too much to worry about.

Villa don’t need any injury scares especially in the defensive line. It’s not great but hopefully, he’ll be fit for the Everton game and it’s nothing serious.

It looked like a knock from physical contact so it’s just one of those things.

Aston Villa star Ezri Konsa suffers injury with England

After a campaign full of injury concerns, the Villans are hoping for this season to have more luck but it doesn’t look to be the case.

It was a heart-in-mouth situation for fans watching on as the defender was taken off after going down off the ball.

Given that Tyrone Mings is already out and Diego Carlos’ fitness is a worry, losing Konsa would have been a damaging blow ahead of the Premier League returning.

It now appears that the ex-Charlton man is going to be ready in time for the clash at Villa Park against the Toffees.
