Manchester City want to sell as Aston Villa ready Kane Taylor transfer

Bryan King has insisted that Manchester City will be looking to sell or even loan players out as Aston Villa push to sign Kane Taylor before August 30.

Fabrizio Romano reported that a long-term deal was nearly in place for the Villans to re-sign Taylor, who left for City back in 2019.

The ex-Villa scout believes that the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea overload their academies, with Cole Palmer the perfect example of this in recent years.

“They usually overload their academies anyway,” he exclusively told Villa News.

“If Manchester City can let players who have come through their academy, like Cole Palmer, leave, I think they’re looking to sell or loan players out.

If Aston Villa want him, they will need to buy him.”

Aston Villa to sign Kane Taylor again

Monchi is not only bringing in new senior signings, he has also made Villa Park somewhere that young talents see their future, with numerous new additions in that area.

Lamare Bogarde is also set to sign a new contract as part of a long-term plan [Fabrizio Romano], so that is also proof that these younger players want to stay and fight for their spots.

Taylor will feel instantly comfortable again at Bodymoor Heath, and it will breed confidence that Villa are ready to pay up to bring him back permanently too.
