Barcelona ace Raphinha claim emerges as Aston Villa eye audacious transfer swoop
Aston Villa will not be concerned with Raphinha’s injury issues last season at Barcelona if they are to sign him, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert stated that the Brazil international, who’s made 65 Premier League appearances for Leeds United, will not take as much time to adapt.
This comes after Bryan King suggested Villa can sign both Joao Felix and Raphinha from Barcelona despite not wanting to spend big on both. [Mundo Deportivo 23 July]
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“He had muscle injuries last season and did not play as much as he would’ve liked.
“That said, I wouldn’t be too worried about them as they were mild injuries and he did play well at Copa America as well.
“The fact he has played in the Premier League before does bode well as he understands the demands required along with other factors which include climate, pressure, etc so I’d give a green signal to Villa.“
Aston Villa must sign Raphinha this month from Barcelona
After impressing in the Premier League, the Brazil international moved to Barcelona and had it not been for the rise of Lamine Yamal, he would’ve played a lot more.
That said, he’s still got 30 goal involvements in two seasons in La Liga despite coming off the bench on numerous occasions.

He’s shown what he can do in the English top flight and his experience in the Champions League would certainly benefit Villa.
In other Aston Villa news, a groundbreaking transfer claim has emerged as the Villans are now keen on signing a two-time Champions League-winning attacking midfielder.
