Aston Villa long-term plan in place as Gabriel Mec transfer update emerges
Aston Villa are likely to have a long-term plan in place to help Gabriel Mec adapt to life in the Premier League, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert stated that it will take a few years for the attacking midfielder to be first-team ready.
This comes after HITC reported on 7 August that despite Villa wanting to sign him, the 16-year-old appears to be on the cusp of joining Chelsea.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“There is always an adaptation period to the intensity of the Premier League.
“There will be a long-term plan to get him into the youth setup right away and nurture him to be first-team ready.
“After a few years, the club can then decide if he’s ready for the first team or will need a loan in a lower league.“
Gabriel Mec will be a long-term option for Aston Villa
Villa appear to be keen on signing Mec due to his immense potential and the promise he holds for the future.
Signing youngsters for small transfer fees can benefit clubs as it allows them to invest in potential future stars without breaking the bank.
Young players often bring energy, enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to the team, which can boost morale and performance.

However, the 16-year-old appears to be closing in on a move to Chelsea.
In other Aston Villa news, a groundbreaking transfer claim has emerged as the Villans are now keen on signing a two-time Champions League-winning attacking midfielder.
