Ayoub El Kaabi claim emerges as Aston Villa eye new free agent transfer
Morocco striker Ayoub El Kaabi, who is now a free agent is expected to adapt to life at Aston Villa quickly, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that while he may be on the wrong side of 30, his fitness record has been ideal and that’s certainly a good way to predict his short-term future.
This comes after Villa News revealed exclusively on 30 May that they’re interested in signing the 31-year-old Morocco international.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“Last season, his fitness record seems to be ideal with no injury concerns throughout the nine months.
“Difficult to say how hard the adaptation will be because older players do tend to be more physically robust which may decrease the adaptation time or the older age may mean it takes longer to make up that gap.
“In his case, I would lean towards the former and he’s likelier to adapt quickly.
“While he is 31, he’s not that old and his fitness record is pretty impressive which is often a good indicator.“
Aston Villa must explore Ayoub El Kaabi’s transfer pursuit further
El Kaabi could be an excellent signing for Villa due to his prolific goal-scoring ability.
His impressive record of 33 goals and three assists in 50 appearances for Olympiacos last season demonstrates his clinical finishing and ability to make an impact in big games, as evidenced by his crucial goals in the Europa Conference League semi-finals against Villa.

His international experience with Morocco adds to his pedigree and the 31-year-old’s versatility to play as a centre-forward or a winger would provide Unai Emery with tactical flexibility.
In other Aston Villa news, a verdict has emerged on a player Villa want to sign with the club now ready to table a £10million bid.
