Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause transfer claim emerges amid injury woes
Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause may fail to seal a transfer this issue due to prolonged issues after his knee injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the disagreement with the plan of action in terms of his rehabilitation, as detailed in an Athletic report in November 2023, has only made things worse for the 28-year-old defender.
While on loan at Watford, he believed he needed surgery but the club showed a lack of empathy handling the situation.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:
“Hause has been dealing with knee injuries for many years and the problem is understood to be with his right one.
“I think it’s likely that his situation would impact a transfer this summer because there’s so much grey area about his injury history and disagreement on the plan of action.
“The fact that he was ruled physically unable to compete by Watford is not a good sign and will make clubs naturally wary.“
Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause faces a long way back
The 28-year-old is undoubtedly going to face a few struggles as he aims to return to full fitness.
He can look to seek a second medical opinion to get a clear understanding of his injury and the best course of action for his recovery.

The club physios will undoubtedly be offering their support but this may require intervention from specialists that may not even be present currently in the United Kingdom.
