Jhon Duran slammed for ‘disrespectful’ actions as he looks to force Aston Villa exit
Ty Bracey has slammed Jhon Duran for his behaviour on social media which has seen him like multiple Chelsea posts causing frustration amongst Aston Villa fans.
Duran, 20, has been spotted liking multiple images on X which have to do with the Blues across many months.
This has sparked conversations about a move to the capital for the striker who was spotted hugging Chelsea staff after the game at Villa Park (27 April).
Villa podcaster Bracey, who has featured on For The Love of Paul McGrath, believes his antics have disrespected the club even if he wants to leave.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I think he’s been really unprofessional, if he wants to move to Chelsea then I understand but there’s a way to do it. It’s the liking of all the posts from anyone Chelsea-related that I’m not a massive fan of at all.
“If you’re going to leave then there’s a way to leave. I think it’s unprofessional and disrespectful to the likes of Unai Emery for example.
“We’ve taken a chance on a youngster from the MLS and as soon as someone else is knocking at the door for him he wants them.
“I’m not very impressed by it. It’s a bit upsetting. It boils down to his age but liking posts isn’t going to get you a move.“
Does Jhon Duran want to leave Aston Villa?
It is clear that Duran is keen on a move away from the club and his agent is going to be working on realising that for his client.
Now the Colombian’s agent, Jonathan Herrera has taken to Caracol Radio (22 May) to share his player’s desire to play more and potentially leave Villa Park.
He said: “We know he wants to play, he wants to go out & play. We are going to see. Now the market is opening up, the club is looking at some options & so are we. The interest has always been there (from Chelsea). Let’s see how we can handle it & make sure Aston Villa are ready.”
With that being said, it is clear that his general lack of minutes this campaign has clearly had an effect on his desire to leave.

This campaign he has featured across just 462 Premier League minutes in three starts and 20 substitute appearances in which time he has scored five goals [FotMob].
Two of his goals came against Liverpool as he helped to secure a point which eventually led to Champions League qualification.
He is a player with lots of star qualities and potential but it appears as if his attitude doesn’t suit that of an Emery setup.
If he wants a move to Chelsea, should a good fee come in then he could be let go.
